Remnant 2 crossplay and cross-progression would make the game far more entertaining, as you'd hopefully be able to play with your friends and family on other platforms. The co-op shooter series' first title doesn't include the feature. However, Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing have modernized Remnant 2''s multiplayer features. Here's everything we know about Remnant 2 and its crossplay.

Let's cut to the chase: Remnant 2 crossplay between consoles and PC is not happening at launch. There has been no mention of this feature in recent marketing leading up to the game's launch. However, this could certainly change after Remnant 2's release.

The official Twitter account for the series, however, has confirmed it does support crossplay between the Epic Games and Steam versions of Remnant 2 on PC. It's a shame that we can't play together no matter the system, but at least there are similar games that feature this functionality.

If you're looking for an awesome shooter you can play with your pals on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms (even Switch), you're in luck.

Borderlands 3 is a stellar FPS, funnily from Gearbox themselves, that features full cross-play. It's a looter shooter that has vivid cel-shaded graphics and awesome guns to find among its worlds. You can also play Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, a fantasy take on the series.

There's also Warframe, a free-to-play highly energetic third-person shooter that has you playing as acrobatic sci-fi warriors. It combines guns and melee weapons to create a unique, yet rewarding multiplayer experience. Warframe features full cross-play and also includes the Nintendo Switch. It has almost a decade of content backing its fantastic gameplay.
