Meet Your Maker has several ways for you to upgrade both your Custodian and your Outposts. Here are the ways you can improve yourself.
Trying to make sense of all the upgrades in Meet Your Maker? Meet Your Maker has plenty of ways you can improve both your Custodian and your Outposts, so much so that it can get a bit confusing. Upgrades come from multiple sources, so here are the various ways you can upgrade yourself in the game. Here are all the upgrades in Meet Your Maker.

How to upgrade in Meet Your Maker
Between raids and building your base, you will be spending your time at the Sanctuary. This is your home base, where you can interact with the Chimera, the Command Centre where you plan your next move, and the five advisors you can talk to.
These five are clones of important people from the past, and each represents a particular section of the various upgrades you can do. They have two headings each, the first is their specific area, and the second is their boost. Boosts are passive improvements that either grant more materials or more information.
If you want to upgrade anything, you need to visit the relevant advisor and purchase the upgrade. There are three currencies used for upgrades, each one is acquired through raiding Outposts, or by successfully defeating other players in your Outpost.

Meet Your Maker Advisor upgrades
Here are the five Advisors, as well as which items they stock, what upgrades they have, and which boosts they grant.

The boost provided by each Advisor has three levels, each level improving the effectiveness of the boost. Furthermore, you can increase the duration of each boost by ranking up each Advisor.
You do this by gathering Genetic Material. Each Outpost has a particular type of GenMat, there are five and each type corresponds to a particular Advisor. If you want to level up a particular Advisor to get more from their boost, seek out Outposts with their type of GenMat.
