A brand new event called Soul Fighter is coming to LoL, TFT, Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra on July 20th. This event is shaping up to be one of the biggest Riot has ever hosted, with new modes, cosmetics and features spread across all games set within the Runeterra universe.

Here's everything we know about the upcoming Soul Fighter event.

League of Legends is getting a new champion, 12 new skins, a brand new game mode, an in-client experience and more starting July 20th.

Arena is a new game mode heading to League of Legends which features four teams of two facing off in rotating combat rounds. After each round you can use Augments to grow stronger, and battles take place on different battlefields with their own terrain and theme. The last team standing is declared the winner.

A new canine champion, Naafiri, is also coming to the game. This champion is known as the "Hound of a Hundred Bites", and looks to be quite unique compared to the rest of the cast.

12 new skins are arriving in LoL too. These include versions of the Shaco and Pyke skins for the following characters from Soul Fighter:

  • Samira
  • Viego
  • Naafiri
  • Shaco
  • Pyke
  • Sett
  • Lux
  • Jhin
  • Gwen
  • Evelynn

There's also a new Soul Fighter 2023 Event Pass. In addition, 20% of proceeds from Soul Figher Samira, the Event Pass and related bundle sales will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.

An in-client experience called the Tournament of Souls is being introduced. This is a style-rating-focused combo battler that takes place entirely within the client. Players can play as Samira and progress through a tournament by playing matches, with rewards to unlock the more you play.

Just like League of Legends, TFT is getting a Soul Fighter game mode on July 20th. Soul Brawl is a temporary mode that takes place across two stages. Training phase, where players compete for Soul Power to strengthen their Soul Crown and gain loot, and then the Tournament phase, where players are eliminated in a best-of-three tournament.

Some new cosmetics coming to TFT include Chibi Gwen and Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen, a new Tournament of Souls arena and an exclusive Soul Fighter Event Pass.

An in-client experience called the "Choncc Dome" is coming too, which marks the first time a TFT in-client experience has been brought to mobile platforms.

  • Nilah
  • Draven
  • Yasuo
  • Irelia
  • Xin Zhao
  • Draven (Special Edition)

There's also a Soul Fighter Event Pass for Wild Rift.

An in-client narrative experience follows the stories of Draven and Yasuo as they take part in the Tournament of Souls. You'll be able to partake in minigame combat and gain rewards for progressing through the event and playing games of Wild Rift, including unlocking Arcade Mode. Arcade Mode features a series of minigames where you can play as Soul Fighter champions.
