Jagged Alliance 3 has its fair share of trailers, giving us plenty to go on when considering the game. The first was the Announcement Trailer revealed in September 2021. It contained a cinematic teaser, as well as some gameplay clips.

The Showcase Trailer 2022 was our next update, one that revealed more of the story and the world of Jagged Alliance 3.

The Legacy Trailer included several interviews with the developers, including series creator Ian Currie, talking about the game and their approach to designing it.

In the last few weeks leading up to the release of the game, several more trailers have been released. These include the Feature Trailer:

We have seen quite a bit of the game in action throughout the above trailers. New fans who are unfamiliar with the series may notice there are quite a few different facets of game design incorporated into Jagged Alliance 3.

This is because the Jagged Alliance series is known for blending tactical, strategy gameplay with character-driven role-playing. While many tactical games like to imbue the soldiers you command with some personality, Jagged Alliance makes those personalities a central part of the game.

Your mercenaries will talk to you, to NPCs, and even to each other. They have traits and relationships that must be taken into account, some mercenaries will simply refuse to work with others based on personal issues.

Beyond commanding your mercenaries, you will also manage the wider picture of the situation. You will send your squads around the map of Grand Chien, completing missions and taking control of the map.

Jagged Alliance 3 will have you managing a country-wide conflict against the Legion, working with your roster of mercenaries and the local resistance, while also controlling your mercenaries in battles that will be the key to your victory.

That is everything we know about Jagged Alliance 3. For more on the game, check out our Jagged Alliance 3 homepage, and for all your gaming needs stick with GGRecon.
