If you have been playing Immortals of Aveum, you may be wondering if, and how, you can zoom in whilst aiming in the game. The majority of first-person shooters (FPS) will allow players to zoom in on their reticle when aiming. It's a simple mechanic, but one that helps out when trying to shoot far-away opponents and is something of a standard in any FPS game.

Immortals of Aveum may be an FPS, but it uses magic instead of guns meaning players can change which spell they want to use on the fly. In this world, magic reigns supreme and as you progress as Jak you will learn new spells and abilities to help you in combat. You will also need to upgrade your Health and Mana along the way too.

Here is all you need to know about whether or not you can zoom in whilst aiming in the game.

You cannot zoom in on the reticle in Immortals of Aveum. This is something that we have come to expect from this style of game. However, because we have swapped out the guns for spells, L2/LT is used up by a different ability, so there is no button to aim.

To counter this, certain spell types and Sigils will zoom in automatically. So the Javelin, a blue type of magic, will zoom in slightly when you switch to it so you can aim better. If you prefer a certain type of magic in the game, you can equip rings to enhance your effectiveness with the spell.

That is all you need to know about zooming in whilst aiming in Immortals of Aveum. If you are enjoying the game then check out our complete guide on Shroudfanes here.
