If you want an extra challenge, you can find it in the Horizon Forbidden West Arena. Horizon Forbidden West tasks players with contending with massive machine creatures and one way to test your skills against the toughest machines is in the Arena. Here is everything we know about the Horizon Forbidden West Arena.

Where can you find the Arena?

The Arena is located near the center of the Horizon Forbidden West map. It becomes available after completing Main Quest Nine and is marked on the map as The Maw of the Arena. It is directly north of Memorial Grove, which is a settlement you will visit as part of the story.

When you find the Arena, you want to speak to Kalla, the Arena Master. This will begin the "Open the Arena" sidequest. Once you complete this sidequest, speak to Kalla again to enter the arena and take on the challenges.

What is the Arena in Horizon Forbidden West?

Horizon Forbidden West provides players with multiple ways to challenge their combat skills. One of the best ways to do so is in the Arena. The Arena is a place you can go to take on fights for the entertainment of the crowd but unlike the Horizon Forbidden West Melee Pits where you face off against other humans, the Arena is where you go to fight against some of the toughest machines in the game.

There are five difficulty levels in the Arena; Amateur, Intermediate, Skilled, Expert, and Legendary. Each difficulty level rewards players with Arena Medals. These are used as currency at the Arena merchant, who sells legendary weapons and armor. These are extremely useful, so the Arena is a good place to gear up.

That is everything we know so far about the Horizon Forbidden West Arena. For more on the game, check out our guide to Horizon Forbidden West Valor Surges.
