Here's how you unlock Expelliarmus in Hogwarts Legacy
Possibly the most iconic spell in Hogwarts Legacy and indeed the Harry Potter universe is Expelliarmus, the disarming charm.
Whilst it is useful for temporarily disarming enemies in Hogwarts Legacy, it also has the potential to inflight high damage, making it a very useful combat spell. If you want to fast-track your way to learning Expelliarmus, read below for everything you need to know.

How to get the Expelliarmus spell
To learn Expelliarmus, you must first complete the main quest 'Secrets Of The Restricted Section'. This triggers once Professor Fig summons you for the quest titled 'The Locket's Secret'.
Once you have explored the restricted section with Sebastian and found the book, Professor Hecate's assignment will trigger. You must complete her assignment before she will teach you the spell.
This is the second of Hecate's assignments and involves testing the Incendio spell and dodge rolling in combat. To do so, speak with Lucan Brattleby and compete in the last round of the Crossed Wands tournament. This will both complete Hecate's assignment and will earn you the title of champion of the Crossed Wands duelling club. You'll also receive the 'Crossed Wands Champion Garb' for your hard work.
To win the tournament, you must face off against four other students and be the last one standing. If you have not completed Hecate's task through the tournament, you can also practice with a dummy by speaking to Lucan. Follow the prompts during practice to fulfill the assignment.
Once completed, return to Professor Hecate in the Defence Against The Dark Arts classroom where she will then teach you Expelliarmus.
