How do you get to Hogsmeade?
To get to Hogsmeade, you need to play for the first couple of hours and get through the introductory story until you acquire the mission, Welcome to Hogsmade. After your introductory classes, Charms and Defence the Dark Arts, Professor Weasley will be sending you off to Hogsmeade to get your school supplies.
As long as you're at least Level 2 and know the Utility spell Reparo - both of which you'll achieve by simply following the game - you can start the mission. You'll be directed to go to the Hogwarts entrance to meet one of your new friends, Natty or Sebastion, who'll take you right to the village.
Once in Hogsmeade, you'll not only acquire new gameplay abilities by further progressing the story but will also have access to other options as well. Along with being able to edit your appearance at Madam Snelling's Tress Emporium, you'll also be able to start buying potions, ingredients, and new gear.
