Before you can take on the Diablo Immortal Tax Collector, you will need to start the Haunted Carriage event. This is available in the Ashwold Cemetery zone only, and it runs every two hours exactly between 9am and 11pm (server time). This means you can take part in the event up to seven times in a day, and gives players a chance to take part at all points of the day.

If you want to start the event, just travel to Ashwold Cemetery as the event is beginning, or shortly before, and you will get a pop-up asking if you want to take part. Select 'Ok' to begin the event, and then you can navigate to the carriage in Ashwold Manor to begin.

Throughout the event, you will escort the Haunted Carriage along the roads of the region while fighting off undead soldiers. Continue to clear the path of enemies, and eventually, the carriage will reach its destination in The Ossuary. Once you get here, the Tax Collector will be nearby, allowing you and others players to kill them to finish off the event.

Make sure you land at least a hit on the Tax Collector so you can earn the rewards for defeating them, but you don't need to worry about being the one to bring their health to zero. You should earn three Enchanted Dust, three Experience Orbs, a class consumable, and a selection of items with varying rarity.

If you're quick enough at finishing off the event to begin with, you can switch to a higher difficulty to take part in the event again for more rewards, allowing you to quickly farm Enchanted Dust.

That's all for our primer on the Diablo Immortal Tax Collector boss, and now you know how to take part in the Ashwold Cemetery Haunted Carriage event to defeat him and gain some vital rewards.
