Best staff in Dave the Diver for the main restaurant, branch & procurement

So you're playing Dave the Diver, and you want to hire the best employees for your restaurant. Dave the Diver gives you a lot of options for how to run the sushi restaurant and the additional branch.

Each potential staff member has their own strengths and weaknesses, so choosing the correct people for each job is crucial for your success in the game. 

Best employees for each job

These are the people I would recommend for each section in Dave the Diver, and why they're best suited to a particular role.

Main restaurant

You'll want your best people here for obvious reasons, but also remember that you will be there as well. As tempting as it can be to completely rely on your staff, you should focus more on maximising your income while reducing your workload during opening hours.

James and Charlie are excellent to have in your kitchen, as they are excellent cooks and each has a chance to create extra dishes with their Ingredient Prep Master skills.

El Nino is the best server in the game, with both Drink Serving Master and Cleaning Master skills. Having someone to focus on cleaning up is really useful, and it helps that he can also serve drinks at the same time.

He pairs well with Cohh or Raptor. Having Raptor there will automate everything, but Cohh is the better choice as he brings in more tips - and that leaves you with the fairly simple wasabi refills.

Branch

Later in the game, you will open a new branch of Bancho Sushi. For this location, you'll need the same number of staff as the main restaurant, plus a branch manager.

The branch manager essentially fills the role in the branch that you perform in the main restaurant. As you can't be there yourself, this needs to be someone capable of handling most things. This is why Drae is the perfect candidate.

He has the most rounded stats of any employee, and he has a high cooking skill. A high cooking skill is important for the manager, as that determines the dishes the branch can cook. Level Drae up to get the absolute most out of the branch.

For the kitchen staff here, you'll want Maki and Tohoku in the branch. Once fully levelled up, Maki is the best cook in the game, so pair her with Tohoku to have the most efficient pair of chefs possible without Bancho.

Billy and Mitchell make a strong pair in the dining area, as together they cover most bases in that role. Billy is very fast at cleaning, and Mitchell has improved serving speed.

Procurement

Procurement is an important job for many reasons, but also useful for giving tasks to staff members that aren't needed elsewhere. We'll explain who the best choices for this role are, but you should know that procurement is a better use for employees than dismissing them.
