Black Desert Online Land of the Morning Light new content

Land of the Morning Light

Along with being the title of the upcoming expansion, Land of the Morning Light is the new location being added to the game. Inspired by the Korean medieval era and folklore, it's full of unique architecture and vegetation not previously seen in the game.

The expansion also brings a new non-linear storyline that players can explore freely, with 80 cutscenes, 40 vignettes, and 6000 new lines of dialogue.

New evolved classes

The twin female classes - Woosa and Maegu - will be getting new evolved versions, introducing new looks, skills, and fighting abilities.

The Woosa evolved class draws from divine power and flowers of the afterlife, creating a unique hybrid combat style. The class will release on May 31

The Maegu evolved class embarked on a quest to relearn the fan, allowing her to harness fiery attacks and a heavily-melee-focused approach. The class will arrive sometime in June

Mythical bosses

The new bosses in Black Desert Online Land of the Morning Light are all inspired by various Korean folklore and legend, with each one possessing an attribute relating to the Sun, Moon, or Earth.

During the expansion, players can acquire Light Orbs which allow players to enhance their own Sun, Moon, or Earth attributes while reducing the related damage received from bosses. One of the new bosses, Imoogi, is available on July 14.

There is also a new mode called Black Desert Boss Blitz, where players can select a boss to fight in a customised difficulty, ranging in Calamity levels from 1-10. This also involves a ranking system that represents players' victories and skill.

Traditional Korean housing

With the new expansion finding inspiration in the Kingdom of Joseon, players can now get unique housing inspired by medieval Korea. The Shimhyangje is a spacious manor with traditional decorations and furniture.

Players can also build a new ship, the Pandokseon, which is primarily designed for combat encounters on the sea.

New summer season

Adventurers can now create new seasonal characters to complete challenges throughout the new season, allowing players to earn the 8th Gen Female Horse and the Dream Horse
