However, selecting your rifle is a crucial element to success. With the uncertainty of which is the most deadly, here's our list of the best Snipers in Black Ops Cold War.

#3 - M82
Inherently, Black Ops semi-automatic Snipers are not as bad as they seem. Casting your minds back to the SVU-AS in Black Ops 1 and the PSG1 in the sequel, these Snipers ranked lowly but were actually quite successful. The M82 is similar. The semi-auto is not as powerful as the bolt-actions, but a shot to the head or the upper torso will still eliminate an opponent. Whilst the M82 ranks bottom of our list, it is by no means a bad Sniper and should be considered as the third best Sniper in Black Ops Cold War rather than the worst.
#2 - Pelington 703
The lowest-ranked bolt action Sniper is the Pelington 703. In a toss-up between the two for the top spot, the Pelington 703 just misses out. Whilst it is faster than its counterpart, it does slightly less damage and is unforgiving. Players will get used to the Pelington rather quickly, as it is the first Sniper to be unlocked, but upon level 25, the upgrade in power is preferred.

Akin to the HDR vs AX-50 debate, the Pelington vs Tundra fight is settled by the hardest hitter and sits top of the tree as the best Sniper in Black Ops Cold War. In the sniping department, damage is key, and the LW3 Tundra has more base damage and room for error. A single shot to the head, chest, or shoulders will grant a one-shot-kill, making the Tundra an assured winner. With a quick ADS time and a powerful punch, the Tundra will revive the old sniping ways in the best way possible.

Of course, each gun is preferential, and different attachments can be used to optimise each functionality. However, based upon their overall abilities, the LW3 Tundra stands out from the crowd as the best Sniper in Black Ops Cold War.
