The Zombie train is rife, and the hype surround Black Ops Cold War has the Call of Duty zombie fandom is watering at the mouth. Confirmed to be making its comeback after its year-long absence, we've already seen teasers that the classic Nacht Der Untoten map is set to return (whether or not it will be in its simplest form or an expansion upon the Call of Duty: World at War version is yet to be seen), and so is the Blood of the Dead map, Alcatraz.

Now, with the countdown clock ticking until the game is launched, players and fans have been researching the depths of the Zombie lore, itching for information on what is to come.

Popular YouTuber and dataminer, TheGamingRevolution, has now found blueprints for the next zombies wonder weapons, the Ray Gun Mark 4 & 5. The deadly, explosive, and futuristic weapon is set to be back in a new build, having an array of zombies quivering at the knees. That is if they're not crawlers, in the case, quivering at the... flesh?

TGR also finds within the Black Ops Cold War zombies snippet that monkey bombs will be returning too. These iconic weapons that have been used by players throughout the years will continue to be an integral part of the Black Ops Cold War experience.

The blueprints that TGR describes stem from the Black Ops 4 Zombies map, Classified, which ties in with the theory that the Primis and Ultimis' timelines will be returning to continue the Zombies Chronicles.

Upon the blueprints, the Ray Gun has the note 'Cooldown meter' which suggests that the popular weapon will be back in a modified state, potentially with a cool down from how many lasers can be shot in a short period of time, or this could just be the name for the reload mechanism of the gun, Either way, the Ray Gun is back, and we cannot wait to disintegrate zombies with it.
