It's a new season for Call of Duty: Warzone, which means only one thing - it's Easter egg hunt time. With Season 6 going full horror as we head into Halloween and the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies, things are even creepier than usual as you drop into Verdansk and the other FOUR brand new maps. Now, one skilled player thinks they've mastered the season's hardest Easter egg.

One of the big draws of Season 6 was the introduction of an underground subway system known as Metro. It's pretty claustrophobic down there, but that hasn't stopped players pouring into the tunnels in their droves to shoot the living hell out of each other while exploring every hidden nook and cranny.

The Warzone Firebrand Bruen subway metro puzzle isn't just a mouthful, but is proving to be one of the trickiest to master. Thankfully, someone has done it with relative ease.

As spotted by YouTuber xGarbett, it looks like the tough Easter egg has been cracked wide open. First of all, drop into Verdansk and head to the town hall in Downtown. As long as it isn't the very start of a match and no one is inside, the doors should be open and you can head inside. Moving to the back of reception, find the keypad and enter the code 2179.

It's a race against time as the room starts to fill with deadly gas, meaning you've got just two minutes to complete the next step before you'll be taking a trip to the Gulag. There are seven paintings around the room, with each having a number underneath. We suggest you come up with some sort of coding system to remember which number goes with which picture.

Once you think all numbers and pictures are memorised, go to the computers and activate the screen. Players will see fragments of pictures and do some quick maths to work out the final code. Be warned, the sequence will only play once, so you'll have to be quick and keep a pen by your side. There's a jumbled keypad you also need to decipher, but entering the right code should show the message "Subway Override Authorized".

The second half of your mission needs you to hop over to the newly added Verdansk Airport subway station. If you've completed the first steps, you'll be able to take control of the systems and activate a secret train. The next train that pulls in should say "Maintenance" instead of one of the usual destinations. If this is the case, it's all aboard for the final chapter of the mission.

It's plain sailing from here as the secret subway will arrive at a station that's packed full of loot. One set of double doors will lead to the lucrative Firebrand Bruen, while the other has another terminal. Once you've grabbed everything you want, activate the terminal and you'll be taken back to the Verdansk Airport station. Due to all other exits having collapsed, this is the only way to get back to the main game.

It's a lot of work, but trust us, it's well worth it. Be careful, there'll probably be a fair few deaths along the way until you can crack the town hall's gas room code. However, follow the guide and you should be cheering with your Firebrand Bruen before you know it.
