All aboard! A tidal wave of brand-new content has crash-landed into Warzone with the Season 2 update. With new weapons, points of interest (POI), and a zombie outbreak, we've got you covered with all the Warzone Season 2 patch notes right here.

New Warzone Season 2 POIs: Vodyanoy Ship and Secret Bunkers

The incoming vessel has docked, with the Vodyanoy Ship's wreckage laying to waste nearby to Prison. The colossal shipwreck contains high-tier loot and due to carrying Aether Crystals and Nova 6 gas, the impact has led to the sailors on board to be warped into a swarm of undead flesh-eaters.

Killing zombies in Warzone will grant you a Yellow Key Card which can be used to open better-than-legendary crates filled with cash, armour, new weapons, and killstreaks.

Alongside the Vodyanoy ship landing, a new dock has appeared in the north of the map across the glacial wasteland that lies above Dam. According to legend, Vodyanoy is based on the Slavic Mythological creature of its namesake. Described as “When angered, the vodyanoy breaks dams, washes down water mills, and drowns people and animals”, and the coincidental dock above Dam, we might finally see water flood Verdansk as it was expected from Modern Warfare Season 4.

Further new POIs come in the form of bunkers and missile chambers. Two new bunkers have appeared whilst one has had a huge spruce up, opening all of the doors and showcasing yet another whopping missile akin to that in the bunker below Dam and in the Airport strip.

The new POI bunkers are:

  • Jarvdinsk Spomenik above the Arklov Peak Military Base
  • Zoszni Spomenik southeast of the Novi Grazna Hills
  • Styor Spomenik has been extended in Tavorsk Park

New Warzone Season 2 Weapons: FARA 83 & LC-10

Two new weapons from Black Ops Cold War have landed too. The FARA-83 Assault Rifle and LC-10 SMG are here to disrupt the meta and will surely add for a few weeks of speculation whilst different builds are trialled and tested.

The FARA 83 is a remake of the iconic Black Ops Galil. Unlike the AMAX which is also Galil reincarnated, the body has remained the same with the elongated barrel for precision at range and an aesthetically pleasing build.

As for the LC-10, it comes as an entirely new weapon for Call of Duty but appears to favour in fire rate much like the MAC-10

New Warzone Season 2 Weapons: FARA 83

The FARA is unlocked upon reaching Tier 15 of the Season 2 Battle Pass whilst you have to wait until Tier 31 for the LC-10.

Warzone Season 2 LTMs

Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme

Just like Resurgence, squad members can spawn back in if their Rebirth Countdown hits zero and at least one of their allies is still alive, and specific Caches around the map will refresh their items frequently to ensure there is no shortage of firepower around the island.

"Up to 99 players will drop onto Rebirth Island for an incredibly frenetic fight for supremacy, as they look to eliminate every last member of enemy squads to prevent them from getting a second, third, or even fourth chance at revenge".

Exfiltration - Coming Soon

This game mode combines the idea of exfils in Zombies with the battle royale. With one team gaining a "radio" that signifies an extraction point, you will all battle to be either the last team standing or the first team on the chopper.

"In this mode, a portable radio crackles into life, coming online somewhere in Verdansk. The Operator who secures this radio and holds onto it for a sufficient period of time automatically wins the game for their squad. To ensure their exfil isn’t by the book, anyone holding the radio is marked on the Tac Map as if they were under a Most Wanted Contract (High Value Target) with all Operators also receiving intel on how much longer the current radio holder has until they win".

Warzone Exfiltration

This LTM is set to land later in the season.
