Call of Duty: Warzone has been in new hands for the last few months, and so far, it seems as though players are having a lot of fun with it.

The new and exciting battle royale experience from Infinity Ward has offered a relatively smooth transition from Caldera to Al Mazrah, and thankfully, we're yet to see fans moaning too much about the new map. Makes for a nice change, eh?

But even so, some players are wondering when we could see some new content roll out across a new playing field. And it could be coming soon.

Leakers Nailed Warzone 2.0 Season 2 Release Date

As predicted by the team at Insider Gaming, Ashika Island, arrived in-game on February 1 2023.

Which was great news for players who are already sick of Al Mazrah - but thankfully, they're in short supply.

We've seen a leak indicating what could be featured in the upcoming Resurgence mode map before, but now, we've also got a release date to come with it.

Leaker RalphsValve revealed last month that the new map for Warzone 2.0 is intended to serve as a playground for the Resurgence game mode. It's likely to include the classic World at War map, Castle - which also appeared in Vanguard to some extent.

This news was revealed by promotional images for the second season of Warzone 2.0 that were promptly DMCA'd by Activision, indicating that the reveal is probably legitimate.

Though this is exciting news, and the implication that the mode will be coming to Warzone 2.0 in its second season, we simply didn't know when it was coming. But that might have changed.
