When it comes to close-quarter combat in Warzone 2, the majority of players will gravitate towards a meta SMG like the ISO 45 or Lachmann Sub. These provide excellent mobility and damage output, allowing you to aggressively push your opponents to secure countless kills.

Of course, there is another option that takes your face-to-face firepower to the next level, and that's wielding a weapon akimbo. Dual weapons do come at the cost of accuracy, but it means you'll never be short of damage and can decimate your enemies in an instant.

Well, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has uncovered the strongest akimbo loadout in the game, which is apparently, "unstoppable" at close-range.

Akimbo FTAC Siege loadout is 'unstoppable' in Warzone 2

  • Ammunition: 9mm Overpressured +P
  • Rear Grip: Akimbo FTAC Siege
  • Magazine: 50-Round Mag

Season 4 of Warzone 2 added the ability to use the FTAC Siege akimbo, and for WhosImmortal, it's a top-tier choice at close quarters.

The expert does make it clear that this loadout is strictly built for taking out foes within the 10m range, as anywhere passed that distance means the setup becomes wildly inaccurate.

However, face-to-face, the FTAC Siege akimbo is "unstoppable," and the amount of firepower this gun provides means "it's going to be tough to outgun this at close-range."

Not only that, but with the 50-Round Mag equipped, you'll have 100 rounds of ammunition before having to reload. This means you can take out a whole squad without any downtime if you're accurate and they're in an enclosed space.

How popular is the FTAC Siege in Warzone 2?

According to WZRanked, the FTAC Siege has a solid 2.4% pick rate which is extremely impressive for a handgun in Season 4. While this loadout is quite one-dimensional, it does free up a perk slot, as you won't need to run Overkill for a meta SMG.

Although the FTAC Siege akimbo won't suit every player, it's perfect for aggressive competitors who like to take head-on gunfights and put pressure on their foes. If this is you, the FTAC Siege needs to be on your loadout list as soon as possible in Warzone 2.
