It's game on, as Season 3 of Warzone 2 is well underway and the April 12 update introduced a huge amount of content to the game.
Whether it's the Cronen Squall battle rifle, the Alejandro & Valeria Operators, or the exciting BlackCell Battle Pass, it's safe to say, the devs didn't hold back with the major patch.
Despite these huge additions, it's the FJX Imperium - otherwise known as the iconic Intervention - that's getting most of the attention. With the ability to one-shot opponents via a well-placed headshot, the gun is absolutely lethal in the hands of a talented sharpshooter.

To help players get the most out of the weapon, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has designed a "top-tier" loadout for the Intervention that transforms it into the ultimate long-range sniper.
Attachments
- Barrel: Ceros 29"
- Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
- Ammunition: 408. Explosive
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6x
For WhosImmortal, maximising the power of the Intervention involves pushing its long-range damage to the absolute limit. It ensures you can pull off those all-important one-shot kills to the head.
Unfortunately, this means you won't be quickscoping with this build on Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. Instead, posting yourself up in power positions will be the best strategy, allowing you to take out enemies in an instant with no counterplay.
The 408. Explosive ammunition is an absolute must-use attachment as it unlocks your ability to insta-kill opponents with a headshot.
Remember, this "top-tier" setup does lack mobility, but makes for this downside with raw firepower, so use this to your advantage by picking off squads that are unaware of your location.
Best Warzone 2 secondary for FJX Imperium
Of course, the FJX Imperium will struggle in close-quarter skirmishes, so we recommend utilising the Overkill perk. This will give you access to a second primary weapon, which lets players run a meta SMG or AR.
Both the Lachmann Sub and Vaznev-9k are strong options in the current meta and will make short work of any foes that decide to push you aggressively.
With the FJX Imperium and a powerful SMG, you'll have a versatile setup with the ability to completely take over a match and rack up countless kills.
