New features have always been a draw for players coming back to FPS games time and time again, even from back in the paid DLC pack days of Call of Duty - and few games know this quite like VALORANT. The hero shooter is a tactical one that knows how to keep us on our toes with new episodes, characters, and weapons.
While Call of Duty is known for its crossovers - like a recent one with The Boys - VALORANT is yet to head into this realm. While we don't know whether Riot will make the most of VALORANT crossovers, one fan is doing it themselves and making the shooter pay homage to one of the most infectious modes in recent memory.

VALORANT mod introduces Call of Duty Zombies

One fan has come up with the perfect collaboration of concepts, and they’ve introduced the world to their design for VALORANT meeting the iconic Call of Duty Zombies.
The video spotlighting the build was posted by developer definitelyfeta on Twitter, revealing the game was built entirely in Unreal Engine 5. It uses the exported Uiana map to build a Zombies mode on top.
The video features the chance for players to buy themselves a Quick Revive soda as well as a Vandal from the chalk on the wall. They shoot and slice through baddies across the small area that is accentuated by archaic technology and lightning strikes.
Given how iconic CoD Zombies is and how rumours of Treyarch's beloved arc getting its own standalone game never seem to go away, we're glad it's found a new home in VALORANT. It's a fantastic build that we'd love to play, but there is some bad news.

VALORANT x CoD Zombies may never be available to the public

As could have been expected, Feta has taken to the replies of the tweet to sadly confirm that players can't pick up the VALORANT and CoD Zombies crossover. As one player enquires about taking it for a spin, the creator sadly confirms, "Unfortunately I can't directly release this anywhere or I risk being hit by both Activision and Riot." Fair enough.

Being hit by one would be bad enough, but to risk being double-teamed by Activision and Riot means we don't blame them for being cautious. It's a shame we won’t get to try out the concept - but it looks like great fun regardless. Riot, take notes.
