VALORANT Is Giving All Players A Free Gun Buddy In June

Everyone loves a good VALORANT Gun Buddy. Whether it be the "Outta this World" Alien UFO, the cute "VALORANT Go!" agents, or even the "Epilogue: Discotech" golden ball to add shimmer to your Champion's weapon skin, the buddies add a little joy to your game, even if you're getting fragged on. 

However, the VALORANT Gun Buddies are somewhat hard to come by, often costing stacks of VP through in-store bundles or being exclusive high-tier Battle Pass rewards.

So, what would you say if I told you that you can have an awesome Buddy for absolutely nothing? I'd wager you fancy one, and I'm true to my word, as Riot Games has released a completely free VALORANT Gun Buddy among other items to celebrate Pride Month.

Riot Games Give Away Free VALORANT Pride Gun Buddy

In typical Pride fashion, the free VALORANT Gun Buddy will have a rainbow highlight to celebrate the colours and flags of the LGBTQ+ community. Clipped to your weapon with a grenade holder, the Pride Buddy is an awesome addition to the game to show off your pride for the LGBTQ+ players, whether you are part of the community or an ally.

The Gun Buddy isn't just for LGBTQ+ VALORANT players either, as its simple design looks awesome alongside bright-coloured weapon wraps, elevating your mood in-game.

"We want all players to feel their identities are represented. No matter where you live, who you are, or who you love, we want to make sure you can see yourselves while you play," said Riot Games in a blog post. The free items released from Riot will also extend to League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift too, as the developers encourage the players to represent the LGBTQ+ community with flying colours.

VALORANT Gives Out Pride Features Throughout June

Alongside the VALORANT Gun Buddy's the LGBTQ+ player cards will be returning to the store. With individual banners that represent: Pride, Transgender, Pansexual, Non-binary, Bisexual, Asexual, Lesbian, and Gay players, there's a card for all genders and sexualities. 

The bundle was available in 2021, through the playvalorant.com website. However, Riot has now added the bundle to the in-game store, where players can "purchase" the Pride Bundle for zero VP, unlocking all Player Cards and the VALORANT Pride Gun Buddy.

So, whether you're an ally or LGBTQ+, this free bundle is right up your street and will add some much-needed colour to the game.
