It's a case of ice, ice baby as VALORANT players get to grips with the new Icebox map. As Act III gets underway, we're heading into the snow-capped tundra of Icebox and enjoying this brand new locale. Icebox is the perfect mix of open space and raised platforms that make it an absolute deathtrap and a sniper's paradise, which has led to fans finding secret areas that are the perfect vantage point.

Now, some have uncovered an elevated platform that is being dubbed Icebox's best place to stand to conquer the game. Certain Agents have the ability to get higher than most, making the likes of Jett, Omen, and Raze particularly skillful on Icebox. When it comes to Raze, players have found that she can get to a high spot and stand on top of a snowman to take out opponents with ease. So where is the VALORANT elevated platform?

Where to find the secret VALORANT elevated platform

Posting on Reddit, u/JakeIsBadAtGames shared this handy high spot. Using Raze's Blast Pack, they launched themselves up into the air and landed on top of the snowman. The spot is in Mid Blue and exposes attackers' spawn in Icebox's middle lane.

Importantly, the vantage can be used to find rotations and any players that are potentially lurking in cover for a surprise attack. With Icebox having so many hidden hideyholes, getting any edge over the competition in terms of height could be the key to winning a round.

Other players were suitably impressed, however, many asked the poster to take it down for fear of revealing their secret spot. One wrote, "Delete quick I’ve been doing this for the past week and have gotten 3 aces with this spot and now people gonna look up :(", while another added, "Bruh i was saving this spot lol".

Be warned, the fact you need to use Blast Packs to reach the top of the snowman means it can be a bit of an expensive place to reach. You'll have to weigh up whether it's really worth it - especially now everyone knows where it is.

All in all, Icebox has proved to be a divisive addition to the VALORANT roster. While some love the vertical aspects of the map, others moan that there are too many hiding spots. Either way, Icebox is here to stay and preparing to enter the wide world of ranked on October 27. While the map is devious to master, Icebox's new elevated platform can hopefully help you climb to the top and become the cream of the VALORANT crop.
