Psyonix and Epic Games has officially announced that the Rocket League Esports Shop has received a well-needed overhaul, music to many fans' ears.

The current Esports Shop offers items on a rotational basis, meaning that you could be waiting for weeks to get your hands on the player banner or decal that you most desire. With the overhaul, each of the teams with in-game customisable features will have a bundle that will be permanent to purchase, allowing fans to have access to what they want, whenever they want it.

With the revamp, an additional nine organisations also got a brand new decal for the Octane and Dominus, player banner, and a set of bionic wheels, taking the total teams that can be represented in-game to 18.

With these items, teams will be able to generate revenue from the shop, the design is also key to attract a new wave of fans to a specific team.

So, out of the nine new RLCS X esports decals, who are the real winners and losers?

The six teams that come out as winners have been treated to stunningly clean designs that highlight their team colours with clearly distinguishable brand recognition. Whether its the Soniq's matte black paint or BDS' signature pink and blue finish, these decals will allow fans of each team to play in style.

Guild Esports and Alpine are also enduring in their debut season in RLCS X which will go a long way towards attracting new fans, especially with Alpine's bright green and yellow combination typical of their logo, which will have them standing out from the crowd on Champions Field.

Team Liquid, Oxygen Esports, Team Envy

These designs aren't necessarily bad but compared to some of the concepts that we have seen beforehand, they seem to be lacking in spark somewhat. Most of this category stems from the motion graphics designer "Jayski" who showcased some gorgeous Team Liquid and Team Envy decals prior to the revamp of the Esport Shop.

In comparison, these decals appear simplistic and lack flair. Team Envy's camo paint adds a nice touch, and Oxygen Esports' beehive print adds a bit of personality, although they may not smack a fan in the face and scream "buy me". For the original fans of each respective organisation, they will still make for satisfactory representation.

RLCS X Esports Decals - Losers

Vodafone Giants, Wolves Esports, Kansas City Pioneers, Galaxy Racer, Triple Trouble, Team Singularity, XSET, (The Peeps, and Top Blokes)

The reigning European Regional Champions have been left decal-less, although this is most likely due to the lack of an organisation behind them. Top Blokes and The Peeps have missed out on the opportunity despite being consistently in the higher end of the rankings in their respective regions.

The biggest side to be snubbed is the Vodafone Giants (Giants Gaming). The side is ranked in fourth place in the European RLCS X table and have a good reputation throughout esports, yet have not been granted a customisation bundle. Kansas City Pioneers also find themselves in fifth place in NA, occupying the penultimate World Championship seeding, yet also have not been chosen to have a decal.

Despite being in Rocket League esports for a number of seasons, Triple Trouble and Team Singularity also miss out, which seems a kick in the teeth considering Guild's introduction to Rocket League came just prior to RLCS X (in the same window as XSET).

The Esports Shop's revamp is now live, and can be found in-game on the main hub.
