It's home to one of the most iconic Rocket League esports moments of all time. A biblical scripture in the title's history that still echoes off the walls of the Copper Box Arena, and is reverberated in every players' part chats when a banger is scored.

London, hosts of "this is Rocket League" at the Season 5 World Championships, is a staple of the RLCS scene, and it could be set to host yet another crucial Major championship in Rocket League history.

RLCS Fans Think Psyonix Have Leaked London For The Spring Split

Ahead of the Los Angeles Winter Major, Psyonix revealed that their in-game seasonal pass will be landing on March 9, as a brand-new animated theme will bring a swanky van to the soccer game alongside a Loony-Tunes-esque spin on Neo Tokyo and a bunch of Bang! Pow! Whizz! customisation features.

Having taken to social media to show off Rocket League Season 6, Psyonix's promotional video showed just a slither of esports action, which may have just leaked London as the upcoming venue for the Spring Major - the penultimate event of the season, just prior to the eleventh World Championships.

Just eight seconds into the Season 6 promotional video, it cuts to the current RLCS broadcast overlay, where a range of topics are outlined. First Touch - the Psyonix-supported podcast  - Los Angeles, and Winter Major all come as topics closely followed by "London", and "Spring Major", whilst the notoriously famous clip of Justin "Jstn" Morales' 0-second equaliser plays on the screen.

The slither lasts for a mere second, if you blink you'll miss it, seemingly being slipped in there on purpose to whet the appetite of European fans.

London, or LANdon to Rocket League veterans, would also fit in with the see-saw theme between Europe and North America. With the Fall Major being hosted behind closed doors in Stockholm, and the Winter Major being played in the not-so-chilly Los Angeles, it would be time for the pendulum to swing back in EU's favour and the Copper Box has been waiting for its first action since the pandemic.

The Los Angeles Major may offer more answers though, as places for the World Championships could be secured by NRG, Team BDS, Renegades, FURIA, Sandrock Gaming, and Tokyo Verdy. With an eye on Spring for the final places, the Major will be hotly contested and will likely be a sell-out occasion.

Car football is coming home!
