There have been quite a lot of bad manners at the VALORANT Champions Tour throughout the season, and as we are heading into the final few rounds of the year, it looks like the bad blood is finally spilling over and has seen Riot Games intervene.

With Champions heightening the stakes, trash-talk has been at an all-time high - especially out of the Evil Geniuses camp - and the infamous teabag has started creeping back into the games.

Now though, with only two days left of the circuit, Riot Games has issued warnings, and Paper Rex has been told to rein in on its BM.

In the match between Evil Geniuses and Paper Rex, the Singapore-based organisation was given a stern telling off according to the players, as teabagging became a near-roundly occurrence atop of shooting bodies, with both sides getting in on the action.

"There's no emotions in it, it's just for fun," said Ilya "something" Petrov, in a post-match press conference.

"Actually, we got a warning for teabagging," added Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto.

"I feel like it's part of the entertainment, right? We just play for fun."

It's not yet clear whether this was issued to both teams, considering that we also saw Max "Demon1" Mazanov dish out a fair share of up-and-down jirations.

Although both teams appear to have found the fun side of things, Paper Rex Head Coach Alexandre "Alexks" Sallé has also echoed Riot in not wanting to see the team engage in such profanities.

"Honestly, I don't really like it when they do that, because they can get carried away and I usually tell them off in practice for doing this," Alecks said.

Despite the condemnation though, Alex did add "I guess if EVil Geniuses doesn't mind it, why not?"

Paper Rex ultimately came out on top in their matchup with Evil Geniuses, booking themselves a place in Saturday's Grand Final, exceeding all expectations in the tournament to be pencilled in as one of the top two VALORANT teams on the planet.
