Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, love him or dislike him, is one of esports and gamings biggest and most competitive athletes. Whether he is ripping his way through Fortnite public matches, or competing in Twitch Rivals competitions, Ninja combines audacious skill with charisma and entertainment.

Since Ninja was released from his Mixer contract when the streaming platform collaborated with Facebook Gaming, he has yet to outline his future. Taking to YouTube and Twitch to stream his content, one game Ninja scarcely stream is VALORANT, and there could be just reason.

100 Thieves entered VALORANT on June 4, by signing Spencer "Hiko" Martin, and has since revamped their roster after disappointing results in their early careers. Releasing four players from their original roster, they have since picked up Nick “nitr0” Cannella and controversial former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Joshua "steel" Nissan. With two slots left, 100 Thieves has been trialling many players alongside the trio they have so far, one apparently being Ninja.

Ninja had been teaming with 100 Thieves' Hiko which can be seen in the video above, and the former CS:GO player hinted at Ninja joining the professional roster on his stream.

Whilst many may find this as a publicity stunt, Ninja's ability on a plethora of games is not to be forgotten. He has been a professional player in both H1Z1 and Fortnite battle royales and was previously a professional Halo player for Cloud9, Team Liquid, Renegades, Evil Geniuses, and more. He may be unproven in VALORANT, however, his raw skill could easily be transitioned to Riot Games' FPS shooter, and could be a great addition to the 100 Thieves roster should he prove to be able to live up to expectations.

This could all, however, just be one big ploy, typical of esports which has treated us to so many 'unfruited' rumours over the years.
