Riot Games look set to be dropping a range of new skins before the end of the year, which will see a golden prestige skin become available too.

The official League of Legends European page slipped a tasty teaser on Twitter which shows off five crests akin to the house icons that were used in the 2019 Trials event. With the caption "A symbol of her royalty, a queen's crest is as much a reward as a responsibility!", the image hinted towards an in-game event that will coincide with the arrival of the latest champion: Rell, The Iron Maiden.

As Riot previously stated on their website, prestige skins will be landing in 2020, and with time running out before the turn of the year, it comes as no coincidence that they would begin to drop hints towards an event.

The prestige skins will likely be released when the Patch 10.25 is released, where Diana has already been confirmed to be the champion that will be sporting a new look. Patch 10.24 will also see Star Guardian Soraka be released to the public, although this will be separate from the event.

The crests in the hinted image also resemble the same colours as the unreleased sword skins that were revealed by Riot in September, with the exception of the Golden Sword, which would appear to be the mastery skin that will become available from unlocking all five coloured skins. With a curve to it's blade, many have speculated that it will belong to the Scorn of the Moon.

As for the crests and other skins available, more information is bounced to be released in the near future, with the patch set to be released sometime in December.
