Mousesports continue to hunt for a third as Arju isn't the answer

With the Rocket League esports off-season looming, many European teams have been changing their rosters, and Mousesports join a bundle of teams looking to secure the right fit for their third man. After Scrub Killa left Mousesports in Gameweek Seven of the RLCS Season 9, Speed and Kuxir97 have been looking to replace the Scot, and have decided that they will continue to search after trying out Arju and realising he isn't the right fit for their side.

This comes after Mousesports was eliminated in the RLSS, winning their first match against the lowest-ranked team, The Clappers, then suffering back-to-back defeats to the hands of Renault Vitality and Dignitas to land them a 5th-6th placed finish. Before the tournament began, Mousesports announced that should their 'super-sub turned super-starter', Arju, perform well at RLSS they would consider keeping him on as their permanent third, however, this doesn't seem to be the case any more, in a quick turn around.

On May 5th they posted this on their official Twitter page, seemingly backing Arju and filling him with praise.

But after a disappointing RLSS, Speed was caught messaging Pittsburgh Knights player Slater 'Retals' Thomas on stream, saying that Arju wasn't right for Mousesports.

Arju, who came in as a substitute for Scrub Killa, had impressed in his early displays, earning himself MVP on Gameweek 8 whilst helping Mousesports jump two places in the league to set them in the upper bracket for the play-offs. Continuing to impress throughout the play-offs, Arju contributed significantly to earning Mousesports a place in the semi-finals, to which they fell to Dignitas in game seven.

However, despite his audacious goals and massive potential, Speed certainly doesn't see Arju as a good fit for Mousesports at this current time.

It is unclear whether Arju will stay on as a substitute, or whether he will look to take his flair elsewhere, but reports from reliable Twitter source Shift RLE reiterate that Speed and Kuxir will continue the search in the off-season to fill the huge void left by Scrub Killa's departure.
