With Black Ops 6 coming to usurp Modern Warfare 3 in a matter of months, fans are more than excited to see what Treyarch has been working on with Zombies. It comes after a particularly lifeless year for the beloved mode focusing on undead brain-munchers.
The developer has already shown off Terminus, and there are high hopes that Liberty Falls will be a chip off the old Tranzit block - having been teased to have a lot of references to Green Run.
Wonder Weapons are back too, but just as Modern Warfare 3 gears up for its demise, a Ray Gun has been added - just not the one you'd expect.
Modern Warfare 3 glitch has you dancing like Raygun
We all know that the MW3 servers haven’t been as reliable as they could've been, and lag is moving into the series more frequently than we'd like.
One player has shown off a lag spike so ridiculous that their post-death sequence saw the Operator turn into a breakdancer, cutting shapes like there's no tomorrow.
The moves weren't quite Step-Up or Street Dance level, though, and more on-par with unorthodox dancer Rachael "Raygun" Gunn. You might remember Gunn was the Australian hopeful whose Olympic run was met with viral confusion.
"Australian Raygun finishing move animation looks good," said one fan. Another joked, adding, "Training for the Olympics I see." Raygun's indifferent approach to breakdancing caught headlines during the Paris 2024 Olympics, although she's since become the subject of mockery on the Jimmy Fallon show.
It might not be the Ray Gun that you hoped for in CoD, but with Black Ops 6 just around the corner, it won't be long until the undead feel the wrath of the dismembering plasma rays. Hopefully, the servers won't be as unstable, and we won't be forced to put on our dancing shoes rather than respawning and firing off a clip of lead in revenge.
