The next Call of Duty could be a divisive one. A lot of fans have been sceptical about what's to come from the shooter franchise after the dull fart that became Vanguard - the World War II shooter that simply didn't stick the landing.

Fans are already starting to get tired of Vanguard, but, the next game could change everything. The first title to come after the announcement of Activision Blizzard's arrival to the Xbox family is Modern Warfare II, which could uproot the recent disappointments to help Call of Duty return to form. And leakers think they know when the game is officially getting its first look.

Leaker Hints At Modern Warfare II Reveal Date

A reputable leaker known for their scoops on the future of Call of Duty has hinted that they know when it's likely we're going to see our first look at the upcoming title, the sequel to 2019's reboot of Modern Warfare.

Insider TheGhostOfHope has shared a cryptic tweet (as is often the case with leakers), alluding to the date of May 30, with a gif of Captain Price for context.

In the replies, the user clarified that this is referring to the official reveal of the game, as it has also been suggested that teasers for the game are coming very, very soon. Not too long ago, it was another leaker that actually suggested that hints towards the game are set to come this week.

Modern Warfare II Teasers Are Set To Start This Week

RalphsValve dropped a similarly cryptic tweet earlier this month about the date April 30, which has now been confirmed by TheGhostOfHope to be referring to the teasers of the game, whereas his May 30 hint is for the official reveal.

This confirmation from two separate leakers seems to add validity to the claims, and it looks like if we see a teaser this week from Call of Duty, it's safe to assume that the shooter will be getting a full reveal later in May. It's an exciting time for Call of Duty fans, and it looks like it's about to get even more exciting too. Roll on April 30.
