Lucky Fans Are Already Playing Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
With every passing day, the prospect of the next Call of Duty game is growing more and more appealing. Though Warzone and Vanguard are now entering their third season, many have lost interest in the wake of the mainline game failing to do anything exciting and the battle royale titan suffering its many bugs and cheaters.
The franchise certainly isn't what it used to be, for better or worse, and it really needs something to give the series a kick up the backside to make it a cultural phenomenon all over again. Thankfully, players think Modern Warfare 2 could be that thing. And it seems closer than ever, as some gamers are already playing it.
How Are People Already Playing Modern Warfare 2?
It looks as though the new Call of Duty game is in a comfortable position in development, as supposedly, some people have already played it. According to the Instagram story of one player, Activision seems to be showing Modern Warfare 2 to the current NFL Draft prospects in Las Vegas.
Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner posted to his Instagram story that he was the first to see the new CoD, with a litany of fire emojis. Take from that what you will, but by the sounds of it, he's impressed with what Infinity Ward already has to show.
Garner Says Modern Warfare 2 Is "A Great Game Already"
In the replies to the CharlieINTEL report on Sauce's comment, FaZe Blaze has revealed that he's spoken to him privately, and he's confirmed how good the game actually looks.
Jumping into the player's DMs, Blaze asked him what he thinks about the game itself - to which he replies "It's not all the way done, but it's a great game already bro, I play WZ daily and I'm a sweat, and I can truly say it will be fire." Interesting.
No matter what was shown to the NFL drafts, it seems like the confusingly titled Modern Warfare 2 must be far along enough to actually flex some gameplay. With leaks suggesting that teasers are only around the corner, it seems that the game could be closer than we think. Bring it on.
