Rostermania is in full swing. The new Call of Duty League season is underway, dawning the Modern Warfare 2 era and the fourth iteration of the CDL. With it comes one of the busiest off-seasons since franchising was introduced, and the cash is already being thrown around.

Despite only officially commencing on Monday 22 August, rostermania has already proved eventful. Ian "Crimsix" Porter's future in the entire scene is uncertain following his abrupt departure from New York Subliners, OpTic Texas juked us all with a 24-hour reversal after dropping two stars, and a variety of other huge names have already become free agents

Now, it's the former world champions' turn to mix up their melody, as Atlanta FaZe appears to be entertaining bids for Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson in the hope to open up the spot for a new flex player.

Arcitys Set To Move To Los Angeles Guerrillas

Two-time world champion Arcitys is set to move away from Atlanta FaZe following the Vanguard season. The Assault Rifle main was forced into an uncomfortable flex role for FaZe in the latter half of the season to accommodate for MVP McArthur "Cellium" Jovel not a position in which he particularly excels.

After announcing that he "might" be a free agent, Arcitys has reportedly had a huge offer to buy out his contract, and the wealthy Los Angeles Guerrillas are emerging as the number one destination for the star.

Guerrillas appear to be looking at Arcitys to come in over Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat and lead the AR category alongside flex player Kris "Spart" Cervantez and SMG duo Cuyler "Huke" Garland and Travis "Neptune" McCloud. Huke and Arcitys would go into the Modern Warfare 2 season on the same team after featuring against each other in the Modern Warfare 2019 CDL World Championship Grand Finals.

FaZe Eyes Multiple Targets To Replace Arcitys

According to reports, FaZe is identifying either another flex player or another SMG to bolster the team; the latter option would see Chris "Simp" Lehr move to flex instead, although this would split up the tiny terror's partnership with Tyler "Pharris" aBeZy.

Initial rumours emerging from The Flank personalities Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto and Ben Nassim suggested that OpTic's Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro was amongst their targets before they decided to stick together. Former FaZe sub and now Seattle Surge SMG/flex player Daunte "Sib" Gray is also another name that is attracting a lot of attention.

Atlanta FaZe is seemingly throwing the chequebook back at any new potential players, even buying out superstar players, presumably using the profits from Arcitys' buy-out as leverage.

FaZe's change is somewhat surprising, although we saw the roster dump both Mike "MajorManiak" Szymaniak and Preston "Prisetahh" Greiner after their second-place finish in Modern Warfare 2019. Nothing but the world championship is acceptable for the established organisation.
