While Hogwarts Legacy aroused the minds of real Potterheads around the globe and tantalised even the lightest of magicians, there was one gaping hole in the game that was left unfulfilled...Quidditch.

Yes, there was some nice flying in Legacy, but we all wanted to harness our inner Weasley and smash Bludgers at our rival's heads. Now, it seems that we'll have to step away from Hogwarts for this venture and wait for the release of the next conquest with Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

Leaked footage has emerged from Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, showing off the title in its glory, although you might get distracted from the main video as it appears to have been scrubbed off the face of the internet, except on NSFW sites...

Warner Bros. announced Quidditch Champions back in April, taking to social media to confirm play tests and signups. All we got was a short video trying to see which Seekers and Chasers fancy taking to their broomsticks first and becoming the new Victor Krum or Katie Bell.

But now, a full gameplay video has been leaked online, showing excited fans how the title will work, including flying, shooting, and beating mechanics.

The gameplay leak has since been scrubbed off the face of the internet and can now only be accessed through NSFW sites where the video is titled, "18+ Gameplay Step Students Riding Sticks In Quidditch." We can assure you it's not an NSFW video, although the site it's housed on definitely is.

The leaked gameplay follows a Chaser in their bid to net as many goals as possible and open the window for their Seeker to catch the snitch and end the game.

Looking quite like a mix between Roller Champions and the Hogwarts Legacy Time Trials, players will be able to charge through rings and smash the ball out of opposition hands, all before trying to bamboozle the Keeper and slam it home in one of the three rings.

The title also appears to have a warm-up lobby, custom celebrations, and you'll be able to select your team of existing players like Draco Malfoy, Lee Jordan, and Cedric Diggory. Gamers can also select their choice of broom, such as the Nimbus 2001, or the Firebolt that Potter sports in the last four years of his Hogwarts journey.

Interestingly, the leak strays away from typical Harry Potter lore as they have changed the points system. Usually, a Seeker gets 150 points for catching the Snitch because Quidditch games are designed to be rather lengthy.

Quidditch Champions has reduced this scoring system to 30 points, meaning you have to be within a two-goal deficit to catch the snitch and win. There's still no timeframe for when we can expect Quidditch Champions, but it looks like the game is coming along much quicker than we might have expected.
