For those who were disappointed by a lack of screen time for Lady Alcina Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, rejoice that the towering temptress has stretched her vampiric wings and taken flight over to League of Legends. Although Riot Games' multiplayer online battle arena video game already has 155 Champions, one Resident Evil superfan has just added a familiar face.

While each of the LoL Champions has different variants, the latest look gives the demonic Evelynn a makeover and a splash of Capcom's survival shooter. When it comes to Resident Evil Village, the story followed a tormented Ethan Winters as he had to best the Four Lords and Mother Miranda. There were plenty of colourful characters, however, few had as much of an impact as Lady Dimitrescu.

What is the League of Legends and Resident Evil crossover?

Posting on Reddit, u/Diazex showed off their concept for Lady Dimitrescu in LoL. Here, they explained how they think the skin would also work for other champions like Lissandra, Morgana, and Shyvana. For now, it's limited to Evelynn.

Players were suitably impressed with Diazex's work and appealed to Riot to officially add Lady Evelynn to the game. One supporter wrote, "This is really detailed and polished! Well done! I would love to see this in the game", while another added, "So, Lady Evelynn it is. I'm almost sure they could get away with that if they changed a few details. Who knows".

Others championed the idea of a Lady D skin for Camille, and someone suggested the crossovers shouldn't stop there as they wrote, "Looks amazing! Would you consider designing a Heisenburg Jayce, a Moreau Kog'Maw and a Bieneviento Gwen?" Sadly, Diazex said they aren't planning for Resident Evil crossover right now. Instead, they promised other crossovers are on the way.

Will we get a League of Legends and Resident Evil crossover?

Unfortunately, a Resident Evil and LoL crossover is very unlikely. Riot Games is notoriously picky about its crossovers, and sadly, the Resiverse probably wouldn't make the cut. Added to this, while Lady D is insanely popular now, she's not a series staple like Claire and Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, or Jill Valentine.

Of course, the modding community has gone wild with Resident Evil Village and created everything from a mod that swaps Lady D with Ada Wong to a NSWF one that strips the villainous vampire naked. It probably wouldn't be too hard to mod Evelynn into the game, so let's see if someone takes up the challenge.

Thankfully, you can get your Resi fix elsewhere. As well as a special Dead by Daylight crossover, it looks like Leon is coming to Rainbow Six Siege. 2021 is the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise, and with Capcom attending this year's E3, we'll have to wait and see if there are more Resi surprises on the way. Either way, we can all agree Lady D would look right at home in Runeterra.
