If you listen closely enough, that Blue Eyed White Dragon is beginning to roar out of the box in your loft, as the original champion of is set to be ablaze again, as Konami has awoken the beast from its dormant sleep.

As Yu-Gi-Oh!'s big anniversary celebrations continue, Konami has challenged Duelists once again to dig into their decks.

The franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and it's arguably never been bigger, coming a long way from swapping cards on the playground.

But we're now set to relive those glory days again, as Konami is running it back with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam, as well as a new VR venture.

During the Duel Monsters: The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY celebrations, marking the 25th anniversary, Konami revealed a look back at the franchise for Switch and PC players.

The Early Days Collection will also bring some titles to the western hemisphere for the first time, such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists, which was only ever available on the Game Boy Colour in Japan.

Details of which other games will also be included in the Early Days collection have not yet been revealed, but here's hoping the PS1 classic Forbidden Memories makes the jump.

This will see Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS come to (as yet unspecified) VR platforms through the SOLID VISION EXPERIMENT, allowing players to immerse themselves into a duel, bringing classic cards to life with 3D models.
