Elon Musk's tenure as the big boss of Twitter has been, for lack of a better term, a total nightmare for the site. Musk once deemed the social media platform to be the "global town square" of the internet, but it hardly feels like it now.
Twitter has suffered intense cases of identity theft, hate crimes, and bullying since the owner was legally constrained to purchase the site after trying to back out of a deal. Added to this, revenue and users are dropping like flies.
Fans have been waiting for the day that the bumbling billionaire would finally step down and allow Twitter to flourish without his desperate desire to be liked infiltrating his management style ever since he ran a poll on the site asking if he should step down.
The poll had spoken, expecting him to step down, and we've been holding our breaths ever since. Now, it looks like the day when Elon Musk departs as Twitter CEO could be right around the corner.
Twitter has found a new CEO

Revealing a new dawn for the site in a Tweet (because of course), Musk has revealed that a new CEO for the site has been found, and that they're expected to take over from him soon.
"Excited to announce that I've a new CEO for X/Twitter," he says. "She will be starting in ~6 weeks!"
Musk isn't entirely out of Twitter, though, as he'll remain Executive Chair of the company through the new CEO's tenure, as well as "overseeing product, software and sysops."
Who knows if the new CEO will work to revert the bizarre decisions that have been made on the site and stripped it of its user authenticity - so we'll just have to wait and see what happens to the site.
Who is the new Twitter CEO?

While Musk hasn't named his candidate, it has been reported by Reuters that Musk has been in long talks with Linda Yaccarino to be the person who would be "foolish enough to take the job."
Yaccarino has been the top advertising sales executive at NBCUniversal until now, and it looks like she could be about to take Twitter's top job.
At an advertising conference in Miami last month, Yaccarino said of Musk, "Many of you in this room know me, and you know I pride myself on my work ethic… Buddy, I met my match."
It's an exciting time to be on Twitter if you didn't jump the sinking ship when Musk took over - and who knows what's around the corner for the site? Hopefully there will be less Doge memes, provided we're lucky.
