It's fair to say that Apex Legends has had a rocky few weeks, with the ALGS hacking incident dominating the headlines and Respawn having to roll out additional levels of security to protect the community.

While the devs finally seem to have the cheater's takeover of the Regional Finals under control, one of the pros involved has already drawn attention to the ongoing third-party software problem in Ranked.

We're obviously talking about TSM pro Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen, who is never afraid to voice his opinion on the state of the game. This time, the CEO has slammed Ranked as "pathetic," as in his experience, every match has been "infested" with countless cheaters.

ImperialHal flames "pathetic" Ranked for being "infested" with hackers

Taking to Twitter on March 25, ImperialHal decided to voice his frustration with the state of Ranked, arguing the mode is "infested with cheaters." In his opinion, it's "pathetic" how long this has been a problem, with at least a "couple of cheaters every single game just boosting players."

For Hal, one of the devs' biggest mistakes was removing the no-rank cap on three stacks, allowing premades of any division to queue up together. This has resulted in an influx of boosting, as it's easier to queue up with lower-ranked competitors and unfairly push them up the ladder.

TSM pro also claims countless matches are starting with "missing players"

If that wasn't enough, Hal also has a problem with the matchmaking system and is currently starting lobbies with "missing players." According to him, matches are consistently starting with only three teams in Battle Royale, effectively making it impossible to climb or have fun.

As usual, the CEO isn't holding back his criticism, claiming Apex Legends is on "fire" at the moment, and the devs need to address these issues as soon as possible.
