Certain weapons in Apex Legends are difficult to use, but if you can master them, it's lights out for your opponents in any gunfight.

This is perfectly demonstrated by the devastatingly strong Kraber and the lethal Bocek Bow, both being weapons that are tough to operate but have massive upsides.

Another example of this is the Wingman pistol, which is often avoided by players as you have to be unbelievably accurate with your shots. For the majority of the community, it's just easier to pick up an AR.

However, for TSM's talented IGL Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen, decimating enemies with the Wingman is a walk in the park.

ImperialHal's Wingman "decimation" makes the pistol look OP

During an endgame on Storm Point, ImperialHal demonstrated live on stream why the Wingman in his hands is just a different beast.

Throughout the clip, Hal is landing consistent R99 sprays that completely melt enemy health bars. This allows him to pull out the Wingman and finish foes off with one final lethal bullet.

While a lot of players' Wingman shots seem to drift away from the target, Hal is impressively accurate - so he's regularly maximising his damage output in a gunfight.

If that wasn't enough, he also uses the elevation of Horizon's kit to shoot down opponents from above. This also results in a lot of headshots. With the Skullpiercer equipped, this allows him to insta-down foes and give them no chance to fight back.

What's the best weapon to use with the Wingman in Apex Legends?

As shown in the clip, the R99 is the ultimate pairing with the Wingman at the moment because the SMG is just so ridiculously strong.

Other options include the CAR SMG, the Peacekeeper, and the Alternator in some cases. All of these guns thrive at close quarters and give the Wingman the chance to do the heavy lifting at mid to long-range.

If you want to take your game to the next level, mastering the Wingman is a solid idea. With the pistol being in the Care Package, it's absolutely essential you know how to use it. As Hal has showcased, it can singlehandedly win your matches.
