Game-breaking God-Mode Glitch Returns In Warzone And Firebase Z

The fight against hackers and cheaters is all well and good when 60,000 of the world's peskiest players are wiped from the game, however, it's all in vain if Activision's core principles of Warzone are easily manipulated to make an invincible player.

The developers recently took a huge stance against those who have purchased hacks to cheat in Verdansk, by eliminating a whole wave of suspected cheaters and implementing an early sketch of an anti-cheat software in hope that they can prevent rather than have to act retrospectively.

However, due to an in-game exploit, players have now found a "god-mode" glitch that can occur in Warzone and in Zombies, on the brand-new Firebase Z map. The game-breaking exploit is making players invisible and invincible, a combination that literally cannot be defeated.

For Zombies fanatics this means that you'll comfortably be able to survive as many rounds as you see fit, even becoming able to take down Orda without getting a scratch from those toothy flesh-eaters. The glitch involves necking a perfectly timed can of Tombstone, which makes them almost spectral. If executed properly, the glitch turns players immune to any form of incoming zombie attacks.

The most severe of the god-mode glitch's effects come in Warzone, a multiplayer experience that means the exploited player will rack uncontested wins. Despite the method remaining a secret to the cheaters' inner circle, it has begun to make the rounds, sending other inhabitants of Verdansk to the Gulag.

As you can see from the two gameplay instances where the player is killed from what appears to be nothing, although on the killcam a player is looming right next to them. Invisible and invincible, the god-mode glitch physically ruins the game for all 149 other players.

With hope, Activision will take a similar stance and make a quick fix for this, allowing players to get back to high-explosive octane killing in a sportsman-like manner.
