Swish those Samurai swords and pick up your Leviathan Axe because it sounds like Ghost of Tsushima and God of War could be coming to PC for the first time ever. While Sony usually has its cake and eats it in terms of PlayStation exclusives, the gaming giant might be about to share two of its biggest games from recent times. As Microsoft consolidates its ZeniMax Media deal and warns future Bethesda games could become Xbox exclusives, Sony sounds like it's going the other way.

Back in 2018, Sony Santa Monica gave the long-running God of War series a soft reboot and took Kratos from the scorching plains of Greece to the chilly climes of Norse mythology. Giving the open world adventure a reset akin to Assassin's Creed, it went on to become one of the best-selling PS4 games of all time. Speaking of Assassin's Creed, Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima did what Ubisoft's franchise hasn't been able to do (yet) and took us to Fuedal Japan. Both games were award-winning hits that helped the PS4 soar to the top.

Why do fans think Ghost of Tsushima and God of War are coming to PC?

Posting on Twitter, CrazyLeaksOnATrain returned after a year of absence and had some pretty inserting titbits. According to sources, a whole host of PlayStation exclusives could be coming your way on PC. If this is legitimate, you can expect Bloodbourne, an Uncharted collection (possibly the PS3's Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection), as well as Ghost of Tsushima and God of War

In terms of the legitimacy of these claims, we should note that CrazyLeaksOnATrain correctly predicted Epic Games' release of Kingdom Hearts on PC, a Ninja Gaiden Trilogy remaster, and Nioh 2's PC port. Although they have been a little off with dates in the past, they've got a pretty solid track record. The leaker has claimed several times that FromSoftware's Bloodbourne would be coming to PC, but as the years have gone on, the 2015 title has never broken free from its PS4 shackles.

Will Ghost of Tsushima and God of War come to PC?

PlayStation exclusives making the leap to PC is nothing new. Only recently, we saw Horizon Zero Dawn and Hideo Kojima's divisive Death Stranding come to PC, but in general, Sony keeps its games locked to its flagship console. We already know a PC port of Days Gone is coming this year, but if all of the above is to be believed, PC players are in for a major win in 2021. Only last month, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan promised GQ there would be more PC ports on the horizon.

Discussing a PlayStation and PC union for the ages, Ryan explained, "The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the calibre of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make". Since then, the internet has been awash with rumours of which fan-favourties have made the cut. While Ghost of Tsushima and God of War would be popular choices, we need to bear in mind the above list could've been plucked out of thin air by anyone.

Ghost of Tsushima and God of War have both had a lick of paint for the PlayStation 5, and while God of War is officially getting a sequel, various job listings from Sucker Punch have teased a return to this world. With so much going on, do the developers even have time to work on PC ports? If Ghost of Tsushima and God of War are coming to PC, you know what that means? Modding. Personally, we can't wait to see someone mod a giant bobblehead of Kratos' noggin on his neck or add a Keanu Reeves sex mod into the snowy backdrop of Norway. Well, that's if the PC port rumours come to pass. Watch this space.
