The Zero Point portal has started destabilising, and as per the data miners, the next season will begin after it’s completely destabilised. Still, the interesting thing about the upcoming season is there is no confirmation about what it will be based on.

While a few leaks suggest that it will be an extension in the Marvel Universe as Epic introduced new Marvel skins and characters, the others indicate that it will be based on DC Comics and Batman. In addition to this, a leak also hinted that there would be a collaboration with Family Guy, a popular American animated series.

As per a few leaks, players might also be able to sell their loot items to NPCs, and when a player sells an expensive item, then the NPC will perform the ‘make it rain’ emote. Apart from this, here's some more stuff that was expected to arrive in Season 5, but might get added to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 update:

  • Gas Flopper
  • Weapons Attachments / Abilities
  • Cars Mounted Guns & Tires
  • NPCs codenames: - Marigold / Midas, Labrador, Umami
