Call of Duty: Warzone has struggled with variety in recent times, with many people sinking into their chairs in dismay whilst waiting for some form of a revamped map. Whilst Rebirth Island added just a splash of spice into the mixture, it was not enough to salvage the bland taste that is the current Warzone meta pie.

With a need for something different, Raven Software added the fan-favourite Armoured Royale playlist into the rotation, boasting a solid texture and a crisp crunch to the trimmings.

Spawning in around an armoured truck, the six-wheeled bertha-on-steroids acts as a beacon for respawns, supplies, and other objects, with the objective of the playlist being to take down all the enemy trucks. However, with so much high octane power on display, players have manipulated the playlist to enter "God Mode" - a game-breaking glitch that turns players invisible and invincible.

After instances of the exploit began surfacing on Twitter and Reddit, the developers have now removed the Armoured Royale playlist, leaving Warzone a flavourless battleground once again.

The God-Mode glitch occurred in the playlist through standing underneath a falling loadout. Whereas in the normal playlists the loadout would squash you and send you packing for an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2-star hotel: The Gulag, players have now been able to warp inside the falling box, when stood directly beneath it. Once inside players can be freed when the entire team collects their loadout, and players have been coming out as spectral being incapable of being seen or damaged.

Instead of looking to fix the glitch, Raven has simply opted to remove the playlist completely, sending Warzone devotees back to the classic BR to await a new piquancy.
