Following reports that Team Vitality could be parting ways with Rocket League stalwart Victor "Fairy Peak!" Locquet, the flying Frenchman has taken to Twitch to update fans about his future.

Having been a crucial part of Vitality’s success in Rocket League during a four-year-long tenure at the organisation, FairyPeak! has suggested that he is not yet parting ways with his partner Alexandre "Kaydop" Courant, although it may just be a matter of time.

Vitality Reported To Be Considering FairyPeak! Benching After Dire Results

Famous for his long locks before a 2021 glow-up, FairyPeak! has an impressive collection of medals in his cabinet, including two world championships and three regional major golds, having been an intrepid piece of furniture in the Rocket League scene since signing with Vitality back in 2017.

However, after six months of poor results - following the RLCS X European Championships win over Team BDS - the veteran has been reported to be discussing a split with his organisation. The organisation remains the second-most successful to grace Rocket League, although they recently failed to make a major tournament for the first time ever.

Following a dismal RLCS Winter Split, reputable reporting site ShiftRLE claimed that the organisation look set to be parting ways with FairyPeak!, should they manage to acquire a marquee signing.

FairyPeak! On Vitality Future: ‘Nothing Written In The Rock’

Having seen the reports surface on social media, FairyPeak! then took to Twitch to update his avid fans, admitting that whilst the results have been “sh*t”, nothing is official as to his immediate future.

In a quick update for English-speaking fans, the French native said, “I'm not officially leaving Vitality right now. As I said, we did some sh*t results during the last six months, in the past tournament. So at the moment, nothing is sure. I can be kicked in one week, or I can stay in Vitality. There's nothing official or written in the rock [set in stone].”

ShiftRLE’s report detailed that whilst a move may be needed for Vitality, the organisation has yet to make a move due to a specific signing being in mind to replace FairyPeak! - should they fail to acquire the signing in mind, it could be that Vitality will double down on their efforts to improve and reclaim the pedestal from which they have recently fallen from.

With such a reputation, and an underrated mechanical prowess from his 1v1 background, FairyPeak! will likely come as a great addition to any French-speaking Rocket League team should he part with Vitality, and won’t be short of options going into the Spring Split off-season.
