Even though Diablo is known for being a pretty tough franchise, that doesn't mean it can't open its gates to more inexperienced players. Despite the huge wait between mainline entries, Diablo 4 is much of the same.

It's comfortable enough for newbies to hang around on World Level 1 -  the easiest difficulty that the game offers, but for those who want a serious challenge, there are Worlds 2 through 4 to keep you busy fighting for your life and barely getting out of scraps with wraiths. But, it could go even deeper yet.

A dataminer who has made their name in digging up data in Diablo Immortal has hinted that there could yet be another, even harder, difficulty mode for players to attempt in Diablo 4

Posting the details on their Ko-fi page, DataMineARPG has revealed that World Tier 5 is reportedly in the works, as the difficulty tier has been discovered to have its own artwork.

The leaker is fairly up-front with the fact that there's every chance that a World Tier 5 difficulty mode was only used for testing or isn't planned for any kind of release, but to find this now is certainly interesting.

We don't know what rewards the new World Tier could offer the player, but given that Tier 4 dishes out 200% bonus XP as well as massively amplified loot, it'd perhaps be the most lucrative way to play the game. In particular, World Tier 5 could be the place for all those Level 100 Hardcore players to hang out.

New gemstone ranks could be coming to Diablo 4

There's also the tease that more gemstone ranks could be on the way. There isn't any indication toward a sixth rank, but there exist names for Rank 7 and 8. They've called "Magnificent" and "perfect," respectively.

When these new Diablo 4 features could materialise in-game is anyone's guess, especially as the title has just launched and content updates are yet to be announced. Here's hoping the future holds a difficult fight with plenty of exciting gems to earn. Bring on World Tier 5.
