Death Stranding clothing line is one of Hideo Kojima’s weirdest collaborations yet

There's a new Death Stranding clothing line, but it's going to cost you a pretty penny if you want to celebrate all things Hideo Kojima.

Video game merch is pretty standard at this point, but very rarely is it worth anyone's attention. It's certainly nice for players and fans to have another way to support their favourite games and developers, but we'll be the first to admit that video game-based t-shirts have a habit of being punishingly dripless.

But, Hideo Kojima has seemingly tried to push the envelope in this regard, with the impossibly expensive Death Stranding glasses looking nothing like any sane human being would leave the house wearing - and now, it looks like he's trying it again. But, it's still pretty damn expensive.

Kojima collaborates with Gresham Blake

Death Stranding clothing line is one of Hideo Kojima’s weirdest collaborations yet

A new line of Death Stranding-inspired clothing has just dropped from a collaboration with Hideo Kojima and London designer Gresham Blake, and good lord, it's expensive.

The line consists mostly of the same design of a series of in-world logos plastered into a collage repeating on itself, slapped across tracksuits, button-up shirts, bomber jackets, and even full silk and micro poly jackets. The most searing part of this collaboration is the price.

The silk jackets are the most expensive items on the site, coming in at a devastating $1300/$1050, but if you want to go a little more affordable, then you're almost in luck - as you can buy a bucket hat for $80/£65. Heavens.

Where can I buy the new Death Stranding clothing line?

Don't be stunned by the prices, as the line itself does brand itself as a 'luxury collection' - but even so, when it's listed alongside the other items on the Kojima Productions Store website. Going out dressed as Sam Porter Bridges is taking your love of Kojima to the next level.

The new garment have their own dedicated section on the regular Kojima Productions Store site, so if you want some extortionate silks along with your poster packs, then you can save a few quid on postage. As though saving money was part of the goal if you can afford the line at all.
