Fans have been fascinated to see what lies in store for an upcoming Warzone event that seems to indicate the return of zombies. Don't worry though, they're already back in Raven's battle royale favourite, as zombies set up shop in the Fortune's Keep map.

Rebirth of the Dead is on the way at some point this season, and it has raised plenty of questions. A lot of fans have interpreted the arrival of this new Call of Duty as the return of the zombies that graced the battle royale mode last Halloween, only this time, taking place on the popular Rebirth Island map.

This latest addiiton is a far cry from the Zombies modes we know from mainline titles, but fans love it all the same. Although Rebirth of the Dead is yet to arrive, a new easter egg has foreshadowed the big and bold return.

Where Is The Warzone Zombies Easter Egg?

In preparation for the upcoming Rebirth of the Dead event, Warzone has incorporated an Easter egg that lets you summon a zombie to the notably zombie-free map. This isn't just a useless cosmetic Easter egg, either - you'll earn yourself some quick revives for killing it, too.

The Warzone zombies Easter egg can be found on Fortune's Keep, which is the controversial map that fans expected would wipe Rebirth Island from the game for good. Thankfully, this Easter egg appears to confirm otherwise.

How Can You Summon The Fortune's Keep Zombie?

If you want to summon the zombie for yourself and earn the revives as you go, you're going to want to head to Fortune's Keep's graveyard POI. When there, find three candles dotted around the area and light them on your way around. Once three candles have been lit, move to the grave on the left of the one with the yellow flowers. Press F to pay respects (no, really), and the zombie will appear for you to kill.

We've still a few months away from Halloween, but it's clear zombies are clearly trickling back into Warzone. With complaints the BR game is a shadow of its former self, the additions of zombies make it all the better - even in its twilight ahead of Warzone 2. Here's hoping those brain-hungry munchers are as manageable as this when they come to Rebirth Island - but we don't mind a bit of chaos if it comes to it.
