Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale is set to hit PC and console on the 10th of March according to YouTube leaker Chaos.

The gameplay video which appears to have come from an influencer recording event at Activision has since been removed by the user but has been reuploaded and can be viewed below.

Free-to-Play

Chaos revealed the most important news for Battle Royale lovers who are new to COD; Warzone is free-to-play and you do not need to own Modern Warfare to play it.

Chaos confirms several details in this leaked gameplay footage, including the introduction of quick collapsing gas and fast looting mechanisms, and purchasable redeployments.

Four Maps

Four maps are also confirmed to return:

  • Overgrown
  • Broadcast
  • Scrapyard
  • Terminal

There are no longer armour tiers, and the maximum carry capacity is five plates of armour, with only three being equipable. Players cannot equip attachments on weapons.

In addition to different versions of the Gulag, Gulag 1v1 respawn side-quests will be included, with the option to spectate teammates as well as throwing rocks at your opponents.

As for the player size of the matches, the game will support 150 and trios to start, with a possibility of solos and duos also being available for launch, according to Twitter leaker Okami;

If all goes to plan, Warzone will be dropping tomorrow, and GGRecon will have all the latest info for COD fans.
