Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is now the second latest instalment of the franchise to be announced in the calendar year, which can only be implied that they are taking their time to perfect it. However, as time is ticking before an official announcement, dataminers have been trying to locate information within the files as to what we can expect.

TheGamingRevolution has found five Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War leaked weapons, alongside some killstreaks that hit hard in nostalgia.

The datamined weapons are as follows:

  • M16
  • Colt Revolver (Magnum)
  • 1911
  • Daewoo K2 Assault Rifle
  • AK(??)

The M16 is set to return this year following its introduction and resounding popularity from Black Ops 1, which Cold War is set to be based upon. The AK could be coming back in assault rifle form, or as the SMG that featured in Black Ops 1, the ak74u. The Daewoo K2 is a South Korean assault rifle derived from the M16A1 rifle, and acts very similarly to the SCAR which we have seen feature across the years. The Daewoo comes as the only weapon in the list that we haven't seen before, as Treyarch look set to send us down memory lane in 2020/21.

Furthermore, TGR has found killstreaks in the files which are set to return, featuring a fan favourite from the past: dogs.

A full list is as follows:

  • Dogs
  • RC-XD
  • Chopper Gunner
  • Napalm Strike
  • Bomber
  • Artillery Strikes
  • UAV
  • Counter UAV

From this list, we can start to infer that Black Ops Cold War will be similar to Black Ops 1, but with an improved mechanical engine. The Napalm Strike and RC-XD were both introduced in the first Black Ops game and will be a welcome return this year.
