Call of Duty’s battle pass structure has done wonders for the game. Whether it be in Warzone or Black Ops Cold War, the progression system has seriously reinvigorated interest in the franchise that many feared would be on its way out.

While some were frustrated to pay for more content on top of buying Black Ops Cold War full price, it’s kept Warzone going incredibly strong, and has been a great asset to the franchise. And now, it looks like developers are paying it forward by giving players some free goodies - but it’s not for everyone.

Some free tier skips have been made available for Call of Duty players, offering players the chance to bypass 20 battle pass tiers and snatch up some content in the process. But, sadly, it boxes out a lot of players.

The skips are only available on the PlayStation store as part of a promotion from Sony, so for you Xbox and PC players, it might not be your time to make some skips just yet. The skips are only free to claim once for PlayStation players, but there’s still every chance you could use the cross-progression across Warzone to claim the tier skips. But, for you Sony fans, here’s how to get your hands on the bonus goodies.

How To Claim PlayStation’s Free Warzone Tier Skips

All you have to do to claim the tier skips is click on the offer that is appearing for many users when hovering over Warzone in the main menu. If you’re not seeing it there, you can wait for it to appear over the next few days. Alternatively, you can seek it out on the PlayStation store - search for ‘Call of Duty - 20 Tier Skips’ on the store, and it should be available for free from there.

It’s a shame that other consoles have been left out in the cold by this offer, but it’s a nice gesture from Sony to its players. If you’re dropping in Verdansk by way of the PS5, grab your tier skips and pick up some flashy new weapon skins!
