It seems that Apex Legends hacks are getting more elaborate by the second, and this latest exploit is by far the most damning, scary, and sympathetically hilarious one yet.

High-profile players such as Philip "ImperialHal" Dosen and Jacob "HisWattson" McMillin have now been targetted with the craziest hack that we've ever seen.

The streamers and their Trios teammates have been joining lobbies full of hacker-controlled bots, with the controlling cheater instructing the other 56 Legends in the game to swarm around them, hunting them down like a pack of zombies.

Fresh out of the bat in Season 20, the two legendary Apex Legends professionals have been pitted in lobbies where all 57 enemies are actually bots controlled by a hacker, in almost a puppet-master-like fashion.

The one hacker in the lobby has then instructed the bots to land in the same place as the trio and immediately hunt them down, not bothering with weapons and meleeing their way to send Hal, Wattson, and friends straight back to a Death Box.

Taking to Twitter, ImperialHal first showed off the hack to the public, where he said that the cheats were impacting nearly every game he played.

"The destroyer cheater found a way to spawn bots in the game to chase you the entire time while punching and he's just picking up guns also chasing aimbotting," Hal said.

What makes this hack even worse is the final boss. If Hal and Wattson managed to survive the hordes of bots, they would then be met with a player who had aimbot, and would incinerate them to win the game.

While many fans on social media found this amusing, it appeared to have taken quite a toll on the streamer. "I had to get off because he kept doing it every game so not that funny tbh," ImperialHal added. HisWattson simply laughed it off, labelling it "Armageddon".

The hack appears to have died down in their recent streams, as the pair finally managed to get in some Season 20 action, but each drop is now being met with a crumbling fear of Apex Legends zombie bot swarms.
