While Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 might have some of the best crossovers that we've had all year - or even through the last two years considering the skins have carried over - a lot of players have put this double-header behind them and are waiting for Black Ops 6.
Others have been loyal to MW3 until its dying breath.
But those who have ditched the series are now being tempted back in (or rewarded for their lack of loyalty, depending on how you view it) with free battle passes.
Activision is dishing out battle passes to former CoD players
In a last-ditch effort to get people back on Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, Activision has sent out emails to former Call of Duty players, offering them incentives to re-download the game.
The emails have offered players who haven't played the game in a long time the chance to have a free battle pass in Season 6, which includes the Michael Myers skin and the chance to unlock a horrifying three-headed Ghost Operator and an unofficial The Ring look-a-like if they progress through the tiers.
To little surprise, those players who stand by the game through thick and thin are now feeling aggrieved, having already splashed out on the CP, equating to roughly $10, on the pass, while part-time fans get the freebie.
Call of Duty fans left fuming after Activision gives out free passes to part-time players
With the codes only going out to those who haven't stood by MW3 through its duration, players have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration.
"WHAT ??? WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY IT ALL THE TIME !!!!!!!!!!!" one livid player said.
"But if I played all the games, bought the Black Cell Passes & pre-ordered BO6. I ain't get s**t. Fml," said another annoyed customer.
"It should have been free w/ BO6 preorders," read the another popular comment.
